Ch -2: Painful Nightmare

As Avantika sat in the car, her husband's deep voice sent shivers down her spine, "Suno, Maa bata rahi thi ki kal subah Puja ke baad hi aap apna ghunghat utha sakti hai toh dhyan rakhna ki abhi grahpravesh ke samay aapna ghunghat na uthe!". Avantika felt a surge of nervousness at the sound of his voice, which seemed harsh and unfamiliar. She tried to brush off the feeling of nervousness & starts diverting her focus on the journey ahead.
(Listen, mom told after doing prayer in morning everyone can see your face so just put veil during rituals in home so no one can see your face!)

As they approached their destination, Avantika caught glimpses of a grand, opulent house that shone brightly in the evening light. The exterior was adorned with intricate decorations, sparkling lights, and lavish furnishings that screamed wealth and prosperity. Avantika's heart skipped a beat as she realized the enormity of her new family's wealth.

The car came to a stop, and Digvijay stepped out, followed by Avantika. Her mother-in-law Gayatri greeted her with an Aarti thal and instructed her to kick the Kalash and enter the house. Avantika followed the instructions, her heart racing with anticipation. Her mother-in-law then told her to place her footprints on the colored floor, symbolizing her entry into the household.

Avantika's father-in-law welcomed her warmly, saying, "Aur bahurani, from today, this is your home. You must take care of it and follow its rules and traditions." Avantika felt a sense of trepidation at the weight of responsibility placed on her shoulders.

Her mother-in-law then took over, instructing Avantika to take care of the household and its members. "Your elder sister-in-law Saraswati will guide you and teach you the ways of the house. You must listen to her and your husband, and obey them without question." Avantika felt a chill run down her spine as she realized the extent of her expected obedience.

As the evening wore on, Avantika's sister-in-law, Saraswati, escorted her to her room. Saraswati's expression was sympathetic, and Avantika sensed that she understood her apprehensions. "I know how you're feeling right now," Saraswati said gently. "I've been in your shoes before. My advice to you is to listen to your husband and in-laws without question. It's the easiest way to avoid trouble."

Avantika nodded, taking in Saraswati's words as she wondered what lay ahead for her in this new chapter of her life. As Saraswati left, Avantika sat on her bed, waiting for her husband to arrive. Her mind was a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions, as she questioned whether she had made a mistake by marrying into this family.

The opulence and grandeur of the house seemed to mock her, and she couldn't shake off the feeling that she was trapped in a cage. Avantika's heart sank as she realized that she had a long and difficult journey ahead of her.

Avantika felt sudden presence of someone or you can say the presence of her husband after she he heard the sound of opening the door of the room and she felt like a total creepy silence in the environment. As the door creaked shut behind him, Digvijay's eyes seemed to bore into Avantika's very soul. The air in the room grew thick and heavy, weighed down by the oppressive presence of this man who was now her husband.

Avantika felt a shiver run down her spine as Digvijay's gaze roamed over her, his eyes lingering on the delicate features of her face, the curve of her neck, and the slope of her shoulders. She felt like a specimen under a microscope, examined and scrutinized with cold, calculating precision.
The sound of Digvijay's voice was like a rusty gate scraping against concrete, harsh and jarring. "So, now that we are husband and wife, we should do everything that husbands and wives are expected to do." The words hung in the air like a challenge, a gauntlet thrown down to Avantika to pick up.

As Digvijay lifted the veil from Avantika's face, she felt a sense of vulnerability wash over her. The gentle touch of his fingers on her skin sent a shiver down her spine, but it was not a shiver of pleasure. It was a shiver of fear, a fear of the unknown, a fear of what this man might do to her.
"What is your name?" Digvijay asked, his voice dripping with condescension. Avantika's voice was barely audible as she replied, "Avantika." The word hung in the air like a fragile leaf on a autumn breeze, vulnerable to the slightest whisper of wind.
Digvijay's expression didn't change, but Avantika sensed a flicker of surprise behind his eyes. He raised an eyebrow, as if to say, "You speak too?" The gesture was small, but it spoke volumes about the power dynamics at play in this relationship.

As Digvijay's fingers closed around Avantika's wrist, she felt a jolt of fear. His touch was like a vice, cold and unyielding. He pulled her close, his breath hot against her ear. "We should do what husbands and wives are expected to do on their first night together, Right?" he whispered, his voice dripping with menace.

Avantika felt like she was trapped in a nightmare, unable to wake up, unable to escape. Digvijay's actions were mechanical, devoid of emotion, and Avantika felt like she was just an object to him, a means to an end. She was a pawn in his game of power and control, and she knew that she had to find a way to escape before it was too late.

As the night wore on, Avantika felt like she was living in a hell of her own making. Digvijay's touch was like a brand, searing her skin, leaving her feeling raw and exposed. She felt like she was drowning in a sea of despair, unable to find a lifeline to cling to.

And yet, even as she felt like she was losing herself, Avantika knew that she had to hold on to something. She had to hold on to the hope that someday, somehow, she would find a way to escape this toxic relationship and forge a new path for herself. She had to hold on to the hope that someday, she would be free. But the question was would she able to be free?..

.....NOTE....
(Plz read)

Okay so you'll must be somewhat disappoint with my writing style & I know it will be taken time to do better in my writing!

& Some of you may say why you have not written the wedding night as detailed....but I wanna say that it's a bit uncomfortable for me to write those things in detail manner and I don't want to write many negative things from the starting only and you all can imagine how this might be painful for many teenage girls or many new married women so I just want to express the experience of the first night as painful I don't want to describe whole journey right now but might be in future in different books Iย  might use detail versions of any physical intercourse as the requirement of the book.

So, comment how you feel about today's chapter and if you have any suggestions then it's always welcomeย  ๐Ÿ˜
